Here are some frequently asked questions about the Purrifichome website and adopting a cat.
If your problem is still not solved, please contact us or join our WeChat group to get answers or help on common cat-raising questions.
1. How to adopt a cat from Purrifichome?
Click here to watch the adoption tutorial video.
On the Adopt a Cat page, select the cat you want to adopt, click on the picture to view the cat's details, and click the Apply button to fill out the adoption application form.
After filling out the adoption form, please remember to add WeChat and make sure your name matches the name on the website. The administrator will review the information. If everything looks good, you can choose a good day to pick up the cat!
New cat parents should remember to prepare the litter box, litter, cat food/goat milk powder, and other essential cat items before bringing their kitten home. Ask the volunteer cat boarder what kind of food and litter your kitten is currently eating. Cats with delicate stomachs should mix their food thoroughly at first to prevent illness.
2. How can I donate cat supplies to Purrifichome?
Add the contact page on WeChat or email purrifichome@gmail.com , and make an appointment with the volunteer to pick up the item.
We mainly accept cat food and cat litter, cat litter boxes, cat ear mite skin disease and other commonly used and necessary medicines. Please ensure that the donated items still have a shelf life of more than 4 months and are not obviously contaminated so that we can distribute them.
Thank you all for your donations, which will enable us to rescue more cats!
3. How to become a cat foster carer?
Add the contact page WeChat or email purrifichome@gmail.com to apply to become a cat foster.
Foster families are required to provide their own facilities, including a litter box/shovel/cat litter (Cat Home provides cat food). Cats are generally clean, bathed, and dewormed. If any cats have any special medical conditions or require special care, we will inform you in advance.
4. How do I contact the administrator to schedule a cat sterilization appointment?
For spay/neuter services, please fill out the following form and send it to the administrator via WeChat. Your zip code is required. Since spay/neuter services require a hardshell cage, please indicate "no cage" if you do not have one. A volunteer will prepare one. A photo of your cat is also required.

Female cat: sterilization surgical gown ($12)
5. What should I do if my cat is sick?
Seek medical attention promptly.
We advocate scientific feeding, sterilization at the appropriate age, and do not engage in domestic breeding. The cost of cat illness can be quite high, so we recommend purchasing pet medical insurance.
