Please read the adoption instructions carefully before applying
Meow~ Hello~ We're cat rescue volunteers! We're all volunteers who use our free time to help stray cats in need. Purrifichome advocates for adoption over buying, with the goal of helping as many innocent lives as possible.
Thanks to the continued support of all like-minded friends, Purrifichome has been able to expand from cloud feeding stray cats and providing warm cat beds in winter to helping stray cats find homes, visit vets, and provide foster care.
We've been fortunate to have helped hundreds of stray cats find happy homes through the Purrifichome over the years. However, we sometimes rescue cats in poor health. As a non-profit organization, faced with high bills, we don't want to rely solely on donations, so we've started charging adoption fees.
There is an adoption fee for adopting a cat from us ( the adoption fee for sterilized cats is $180, and the adoption fee is non-refundable). All adoption fees will be deposited into the stray cat rescue fund account to be used for stray cat medical treatment, rescue and foster care expenses.
We also accept donations of any cat supplies or cat litter and cat food (such as unwanted cat litter, cat bowls, cat beds, etc.). Thank you!
Before you decide to adopt, please read the following questions carefully:
1) Are you allergic to cats? (Is anyone in your family allergic to cats?)
2) Does your family allow you to have a cat? (Do you own the house or rent it? Do you share it with someone? Do your roommates agree? Does the landlord allow you to have a cat?)
3) Do you have the patience and time to care for a kitten? (The kitten might make noises in the middle of the night and require playtime. This should be considered if you have a busy work schedule and don't sleep well.)
4) Are you willing to provide a safe and comfortable environment for your cat? (No cages or outdoor roaming)
5) Are you prepared for the expenses of adopting a cat? (Food, cat litter, supplies, insurance, etc.)
